Q: How big are your sites?
A: Approximately 40' x 60' We can easily accommodate large trailers and motorhomes.
Q: How far are the sites from the stalls?
A: Within walking distance, or some people drive their truck back and forth.
Q: Do you have trees?
A: Yes, Our trees are strategically placed to not be a hindrance or impede parking a trailer. Keep in mind some of them lose leaves in the winter.
Q: Do you have grills?
A: Not at this time
Q: Are all your sites full hook up?
A: Yes, all sites offer water, sewer and electric hook ups, both 30 and 50 amp.
Q: What is your cancellation/refund policy?
A: We do not give refunds, if there is an emergency we will give you 3 months from your original arrival date to reschedule and come visit.
Q: Does each lot have a picnic table?
A: We have a limited amount of tables available, to ensure you have a table it is best to bring your own.
Q: Is your pool heated?
A: No it is not.
Q: Do I have to have a stall for each horse?
A: Yes and all horses must be stalled at night.
Q: Do we offer hay, feed and shavings?
A: No, but there are many places nearby that do, the closest being about 5 miles up the road from us.
Q: Do you have cable TV?
A: Not at this time, but we do have Wi Fi.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Yes, we are pet friendly they MUST be kept on a leash at all times and picked up after. No one wants to step in your dogs business'.
Q: Do you have events there?
A: Not normally, our guests are self entertained. We do try and have a Pot Luck each month. Everyone brings their dishes, drinks and enough food for themselves plus four more, and we all have a great time enjoying yummy food and good company.
Q: Do you have laundry facilities on site?
A: No, the closest laundry mat is in Dunnellon about 15 minutes away.
Q: How far are you from Ocala?
A: About 30 minutes depending on where in Ocala
Q: Are fires allowed?
A: Yes, if you have an above ground fire pit, NO on ground fires (trust us it isn't good) We also have a community fire pit under a cluster of oak trees, bring your own wood, start a fire and people just might start to gather.
Q: Is alcohol allowed?
A: Of course, we want you to have fun. Don't get too crazy though.
Q: Do you have wheelbarrows for us to use?
A: Yes we do, but bring your own manure fork.
Q: Can we just rent a paddock?
A: No, all horses have to have a stall and be in stalls at night.
Q: Can we bring our own hay?
A: Yes, and it doesn't need to be weed free.
Q: What do we need to come to Florida?
A: Health certificate and current coggins, also, ask your vet as they will be up to date on certain requirements needed to travel. Also, be sure to stop at the Agricultural Station when coming into the state, yes it is for horse owners too.
Q: How do I rent a pasture?
A: It's first come, first serve. We have 3 private play pastures available.
Q: How much are the Play Pastures?
A: $10 per day $75 per week and $300 per month ($750 if you do 3 months)
Q: Does the bathhouse have showers?
A: Yes, both the men and women's bathroom have two showers. BONUS! We have hot water.
Q: Can I put up my own panel paddocks or make my own paddocks?
A: No

A: Most sites are fairly level, bring leveling blocks just in case
Q: Do you have snakes and alligators?
A: Yes, this is Florida. However the likely hood of a close encounter is not common.
Q: Where can I get propane?
A: There is a Marathon gas station about 7 minutes away that refills propane.
Q: Do we sell firewood?
A: No, but our neighbor does!
Q: Do we sell ice?
A: No, the Marathon up the road has an ice machine
Q: Where is my lot?
A: You get to chose your own lot upon arriving, visit our map to see a layout of the sites. Yearly people have a assigned section to choose from.
Q: Where can I put my tack?
A: You can rent a tack locker or stall, leave it in front of your stall or you can put it in the back of your truck and drive it back and forth.
Q: How bad are the bugs December - March?
A: Typically we don't have many bugs during that time and if we do they are not bad.
Q: Do have rental horses?
A: No, but there is a trail riding place a mile away.
